A wonderful visit to friends in Melbourne in August to celebrate their son Tom's wedding gave us the opportunity to explore a little of this fascinating country's flora and fauna - in early Spring. I have always loved eucalyptus trees (even planting one in our garden before discovering quite quickly that they need a LOT of space and grow like Topsy! So it was particularly lovely to see some of these magnificent trees in full-throated technicolour bud and blossom. There are hundreds of different types of eucalyptus and they grow in forests across Australia. Quite a sight! If you'd like a print of my eucalyptus blossom painting, let me know !

.In October 2018, I donated 500 seasonal greetings cards of two of my designs to a local charity, the Stroud District Foodbank, to help them raise much-needed funds. Within two weeks of the charity putting them on sale, they had raised more than £600 and asked for another print run. Really delighted by the response! Order yours here
